Sacred Resins & Artisan Oils
From Oman to Appalachia
The Rise of The SmokeWalkers
The SmokeWalkers' journey began in 2014 on a small island in the south of Thailand. Peri and Angus — who would become the SmokeWalkers — opened a raw chocolate company after meeting on a mountaintop dance floor in California. In their chocolate shop nestled in paradise, they started burning frankincense resin. It awakened something ancient and powerful within them.
The archetype that emerged was that of a hooded figure wielding a cauldron, full of Earth's finest sacraments. These figures can still be found roaming the medinas of Morocco, walking barefoot through temples in Thailand, or tending shrines in Nepal. These are the SmokeWalkers — figures who carry the cauldron, spreading the offerings of cleansing and lifting humanity's whispered prayers.

When a supply issue arose with their frankincense connection, they decided to visit the land of frankincense itself. They applied for a visa. Denied. Tried again. Denied. The Omani Embassy told them off the record they would continue to be denied because of their face tattoos.
They bought plane tickets anyway. After a four-hour ordeal at immigration, the kind officials told them they couldn't guarantee their safety. They returned almost a month later, carrying 16 duffle bags full of the finest frankincense on the planet. And that's how SmokeWalkers was born.
A Decade of Smoky Prayers
"And still, after all this time, the sun never says to the earth, 'You owe Me.' Look what happens with a love like that — it lights the Whole Sky."
